چکیده
ABSTRACT Grape and cherry mini tomatoes have been conquering Brazilian consumers due to their sweet taste, practicality of consumption, versatility in culinary use. Therefore, the present work aimed characterize ten grape tomato hybrids based on genetic diversity physical biochemical traits provide information for development new genotypes focused appearance enrichment nutritional factors. The evaluated were Aiko, BRSIG, BRS Zamir, Carolina, Dolcetto, Dulce, Guaraci, Santa West, SCI-023 Sweet Heaven. experiment was conducted 2019 a greenhouse at State University Londrina, using completely randomized design with four replications six plants each replication. grown following practices recommended cultivating tomatoes. characterization data subjected analysis variance by F test (p<0.05) Scott & Knott means cluster (p<0.05), molecular principal coordinates (PCoA) Bayesian clustering. Aiko presented highest fruit mass size as opposed that observed SCI-023, while BRSIG firmest largest pericarp thickness. Heaven had higher sugar content. soluble solids content ranged from 6.04 9.66 °Brix among genotypes. Hybrids Heaven, Dulce antioxidant activity levels. In phenotypic two groups formed. genotypic showed seven which high similarity verified well between Carolina Dulce. greatest dissimilarity BRSIG. Both characterizations useful evaluate aptitude these outstanding genitors breeding programs market.

Phenotyping and genotyping neuropathic pain.
Despite ongoing efforts, neither effective treatments nor mechanistic understanding of the pathogenesis of human neuropathic pain exists. Genetic association studies may point to the novel molecules that mediate neuropathic pain, facilitating its understanding and management. Several studies used a candidate gene approach to elucidate genetic contribution to neuropathic pain phenotypes; however...

the current study aimed at investigating the relationship between motivation and test preparation strategies (tpss) used by iranian pre-university students in their preparation period for the university entrance exam (uee). due to the importance of uee in iran, this study also attempted to show its impact on these two important variables. to this end, 100 pre-university students in an iranian p...
Invited Comment Precision in Phenotyping and Genotyping
The report by Moncla et al. [this issue] describing a patient with an occult 4;18 translocation brings up several interesting points which warrant additional discussion. First, these authors point out the clinical similarity of their patient to those of the multigenerational family reported by Rasmussen et al. [1979] and the individual reported by Julia et al. [2002]. The patient of Julia et al...
متن کاملBreeding Salinity Tolerant Grape rootstocks
Understanding the mechanism of salinity tolerance in any crop plant is a prerequisite to crop development with regards to this trait. However, analogous to agronomic breeding for yield, salt tolerance breeding in grapevines is hampered by the complex nature of the plant response to a soil solution containing a high concentration of salt (reviewed in M. Ashraf and P.J.C. Harris, eds., 2005, Abio...
متن کاملMendel's search for true-breeding hybrids.
It has been widely believed that Gregor Mendel’s experiments with peas (genus Pisum) were designed to discover the basic principles of heredity (genetics). Those more familiar with the history of genetics know that his work with peas sought to explain the laws governing the origin and development of hybrids (Hartl and Orel 1992, p. 245; Monaghan and Corcos 1985, p. 49–50; Stern and Sherwood 196...
